You might like to know that the National Archives in Ireland have started to publish the 1911 Census of Ireland data, complete with scanned copies of the original census returns! However, currently only Dublin data is available. Website is http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/
Administrator please note this - it could be very very useful to anyone seeking information on their relatives living in Dublin at the time.
Best of luck,
Eric Sheppard

I found my 2x's great uncle, his wife and 3 children yesterday! I was more than a little pleased

I did find that less is more when inputting info into search fields - I got no hits the first time with first name but bingo without!

Well pleased
I'm pleased you guys had some good results on the 1911 Ireland Census website. It should be even better when the site eventually puts up the data for all of Ireland. Can I ask the Administrator to spread the word on this website as I'm sure there are others out there who could benefit from it.
Eric

The website in question has a Future Plans section which states:
Future plans
The records for 1911 are being digitised first, then those for 1901. The order in which counties will be made available, starting in December 2007, with 1911, is:

Kerry
Antrim & Down
Donegal
Cork
Wexford
Galway
King’s County (Offaly)
Limerick
Mayo
Waterford
Armagh
Carlow
Cavan
Clare
Fermanagh
Kildare
Kilkenny
Leitrim
Londonderry (Derry)
Longford
Louth
Meath
Monaghan
Queen’s County (Laois)
Roscommon
Sligo
Tipperary
Tyrone
Westmeath
Wicklow
