Margaret Bashford of Croydon

Hoping someone can help with this elusive lady. Know she was married to Robert Lock in 1863 with father's name as Richard Bashford. On 1871, 1881 and 1891 censuses she gives three different birth dates - 1843, 1848 and 1844 and three different places of birth - Croydon, Couldson and East Grinstead. Have tried Family Records Office but the only Margaret Bashford they have has father as George Bashford.
