Thanks again Steve. This is exactly what I was hoping for. Assisi will be my first stop on my next trip over. I'm really excited about finally finding Assisi and actually seeing it in person. And also the interesting tip about Colin Firth. I understand the author Jane Austen is from that area as well.

JPD: you're right about Jane Austen: you can visit the Austen house at Chawton if you're in Grayshot, it's not far away. It's a very pretty area, well worth a look. A Google map will find both villages.
