Hi All
Here is my brickwall, can someone help knock it down???
My gx3 grandfather was James Wallwork (1838/9) have found a few corraborating census records for him but the names of his parents seem to change. Wondered if anybody has access to the parish records of the Clifton area to find a possible baptism for him c1838. I know for definate that he is not the James Wallwork b 1838 to a Nathan Wallwork as this James Wallwork died in the 1880s. Also if possible a baptism record for a Rachel Coop b 1840/1. Her fathers name is Michael but not sure on mothers name
Any information would be gratefully recieved
Thanks in Advance
Cezza

Do you mean Clifton with Salwick or Clifton near Swinton?

Not sure about districts. The Clifton I am talking about is next to Kearsley near Bolton.

Ah yes...Clifton originally part of the Parish of Eccles. This was a very busy church and may involve a long search.
