Hi Boddso,
I have a William Caunt born 1819 in Brothertoft and John Caunt born 1847. Ther name changes to Cant as the years go on. Don't know if this is any help.

Caunt
My earliest is Francis Caunt born c1784 Elston. He possibly married Elizabeth Shipman around 1805 in Stubton, Lincs.
