    Default James Leonard Viney B.1820

My Great Great grandfather was James Leonard Viney B.1820 in Wales, probably Pembroke as his sister Sarah was born in Pembroke dock. His parents are listed as George Viney and Ann Queensbury. I seem to have come to a dead end with them, any suggestions ?

Did he survive to and appear in the 1851, 1861, etc census returns? These should show a place of birth. The birth being pre-civil registrain, you will need to consult the relevant parish registers to obtain details of his baptism, parents and fathe's occupation.

    Default Vineys of Pemb Dock

There are 6 Viney baptisms at Pembroke Dock St John between 1862 and 1878. Alas there is no J. C. Viney listed baptised around the time of your interest there is however a Sarah Catherine Viney baptised in 1862.

I can confirm from my database of all and every baptism for the Town of Pembroke in the parishes of St Mary and St Michael there are no baptism entries for the surname Viney.

You do not mention it, but it appears that James L. Viney possibly/probably married Sarah Board in the Exeter Reg District in the 2nd Qtr of 1849.
