    Thanks. I've pretty much come to conclusion this must have been the case. I had a look at all my records, it doesn't give his age on the naturalisation info, but everything else I have indicates a much earlier birth date.

    Thomasin, thanks for the emails!! Thomas is in Gt Peter Street, Westminster in 1841;

    This part of the PHAIR family gets more mysterious as the interest increases - almost as good as an Agathe Christy. At the moment the score is `telling porkies' and `doing a runner'.

    Hi again. Sorry it has been awhile since I have done any genealogy. I was at a stand still too. I am just now trying to get back into the search again. Now that I am at home. And I am able to go online anytime. My Grandfather was born in Spokane, WA. Brush up on the history for my side of the family is that there were two Phair brothers that were in Cromwell's Army and left England and fled to Ireland. One settled in the Northern part and the other in the Southern part. My side was in the Buttevant, Co. Cork area of Ireland. Look forward to hearing from anyone with any info. Happy hunting and thanks for your prompt reply. Anyone can email me at: SwthrtPea AT yahoo DOT com with PHAIR info.
