    Smile Thake - Much Hadham

I have just discovered I am related to the Thakes in Much Hadham. William and Mary were my gt (x3) grandparents and their daughter Susan - born 1834 - was my gt (x2) grandmother.

Hammond: I have Mary Ann Hammond b/1831. She married William Shambrook b/1827 in 1851. Their daughter, Ellen Shambrook, b/1855 married Frederick Scales b/1855 in 1876.

Tinsley: I have Mary Tinsley b/1790 who married James Scales b/1786 in 1810. Their son, James b/1815 ( he was eventually "transported" ) is the father of Frederick Scales shown above.

Any connection to your lots ? Regards.

    Hi Bob

We were previously in contact from 1998-2003.

I have not been able to make any steps backwards in my TINSLEY research. I have also checked my records and have not been able to locate any Mary HAMMOND / William SHAMBROOK connection to my HAMMOND line.

    warm regards

Hi I don't think it's a good idea to list your email addie as you could get lots of spam
Perhaps send it to Vivian in a private message??
I'm sure the moderators will pick this up.
