Marriage Conway-Jones Llanasa 1844

I am not sure of the feasibility of this request, apologies in advance if I am asking for a needle in a haystack!

Is anyone able to lookup a marriage for me in the PR's

1844 (exact date unknown!!) Llanasa in the Church of St Asaph and St Cyndeym.
Robert Conway to Ann(e) Jones.

Any assistance appreciated as I am in Australia and unable to access the registers.

FreeBMD shows this marriage being registered in the Dec quarter 1838

These are the references you use to purchase the certificate from GRO.

If you got the marriage date place from a death certificate, or child's birth registration here in Australia, that could account for it being the wrong year.

Someone might have easy access to the registers, or you might be able to get filmed registers from the LDS.
