They had some terrible luck with raising children didn't they, its so sad. I also don't have a death for Robert, I assume he passed away young as well, or there would be some record of him on someone's tree married off.
I would love to see your gedcom, I feel like I've only just gotten started with the Waldocks, they certainly were breeders alright! I'll send you an email once the kids are at school and my coffee has sunk in (its not yet gone 7am here, I'm still a bit blurry haha!)

Hi Crista, I have been busy looking into my Ell heritage and found your posts here. I am a real novice in this and have read your posts along with Susan's and David's with interest. I too am from chch, nz and Archibald Waldock Ell is my great grandfather on my fathers side. Thanks again for the informative read...any links or clues you can offer me would be most appreciated
