Hello
I am new to this site, although not to famly history, I have been researching my family history on and off for the last 17 years and I am still looking! I have hit a brickwall with my Pollard tree, in particular Aquilla pollard, I have his birth Bradford,1846 and marriage to Selina Marshall 1869 but unable to find his death, I have him up untill the 1871 census but nowhere to be found after that and I have been unable to find him for the last 5 years. Garbutt is my maternal line from North Yorkshire but they are like Smith's up there, My Garbutts settled in Durham, West Pelton area.
I am at the moment trying to concentrate on my Husbands tree, the Russell's originally from Northamptonshire who were Boatmen, who settled in Willesden, Marsworth and Rickmansworth when they finished on the boats, Hammond not too much on that line yet other than the 7 surviving sisters who lived in and around Willesden.
