my partner has done some of his tree and has come to a stop at the circus.his family originate from an IRISH circus where they were a juggling family,the name he has is MARY O'HIGGINS in the late 1800, any help would be greatly received.

One of mine was an acrobat but I have not found that much information other than the census. Were your family in the UK at all and do you have any census information or are we only searching in Ireland?

as far as i know they had come over from ireland with the circus and were quite well known in ireland. my partners family have like a bill-board notice which does state where they were performing at that time but at present no-one seems to know where the notice is,i think they were in brighton but thats only from memory of reading it once a number of years ago so i am quite probably wrong.
