I would love to track down the article reporting my Aunt's birth, who was born 25 August 1932 in Harwich Essex. She was premature (around 25 weeks I believe) and was less than 1 pound. Her name was Sheila Gough and her parents were Stanley and Kathleen Gough.
I'm in New Zealand so can't make a trip anywhere just yet. Does anyone know where I could start looking online?
thanks

It isn't ideal - but the British Library has a section dealing with ust newspapers, this is the Colindale Library
http://www.bl.uk/collections/newspapers.html
They have an online catalogue of their holdings and you can pay for and order copies of newspaper on microfilm.
