How to find passenger lists from Lpool to NY

How do i find passenger lists from Lpool to NY abt 1912-1930 ??

Well, I'd start the other side of the pond, with Ellis Island - because (a) it's free, and (b) the American arrival records generally contain more detail than our English records, which very often have so little other than the name that unless you have a clearly identifiable family group, info on a reasonably precise date, or a genuinely unusual name, you can sometimes end up with just a load of "maybe" people.
The English records are at The National Archives, Kew, or can be seen online (but not for free) at Find My Past up to 1929.
