Hi! I have been researching my family (all branches) since my grandmother died in 1984! I have had many successes and hit plenty of dead ends. I have had an especially hard time with the branches I most love, those from England. My 3x gr grandparents came to the states in the mid 1800's from Leicestershire. No one who was still alive ever talked about the family and all I had was family bible, a couple of names and a desire to know! I am determined to find them if at all possible. Once I find out who they were and where they lived, I dream of being able to visit the country they left behind and if I'm really lucky visit the towns they lived in and walk where they once walked. This is a great web sight and I'm hoping I will have success here with my search.
