Murliss family

Does anyone have any details of this family? In 1778 Rachel Murliss married at St Marys Taunton. Think the family may have come from Taunton or Bridgewater but not sure as I have not been able to find anything. Hope there is someone who can help.

Thanks Brian. Jacob Wilcox Ricketts is my wifes relative. How do you know this? Are you related to Murliss or Ricketts?
Did Rachel have any brothers or sisters?
According to a newspaper announcement Henry was in the army but not sure if local militia or what regiment.
What information do you have which may help me?

No I am not related, I just help out now and again.
If you are referring to a Major Murliss, The Sherborne Mercury 1778, I can't find any other info either !
I've checked to see if he had made a will, he might have done, but not under that name !
