Holroyds of Huddersfield

My husband's grandfather, Joseph Holroyd, used to own the Wappy Springs pub at Lindley in Huddersfield. I would be very grateful for any other information about other relatives that anyone on the list might be able to give me.

Joseph was my GreatGreat Grandfather. His wife was Nanny and they had 13 children. The eldest Selina was my Great Grandmother. On Selina's marriage certificate, Joseph is shown as being a miner. I guess this was a little shaft at Lindley Moor that you could walk into. Nanny Holroyd used to brew her own beer for the pub. I have an acrobat in a wooden box which belonged to them. I have photograph of Nanny but not of Joseph. I have given my archive material relating to the family to West Yorkshire Archives based at Huddersfield Library.
