Marriage Certificates

Could someone please tell me, what the letters FAB mean in place of age, on a marriage certificate, Full Age Batchelor??

If it is an English/Welsh certificate, Bachelor should be in the Marital Condition column, not the Age column. Is there any chance it might be a misreading? Can you get it up online so people can take a look?

I wish I did have it online, but I'm afraid I don't. I only have it as a transcription on hard copy! Thanks for your help anyway.

If you don't actually have the certificate, perhaps you ought to think about ordering a copy.

And as presumably you know in which church the marriage took place, you should be able to order a photocopy of the PR from the relevant county Record Office/Archive rather than pay seven quid for a certified copy from the GRO.
Do stress though, that you want a photocopy of the PR entry.
