Hi Baldy,
This family appear on the 1901 census, have you already got that information. I also gave you a lot of information to your previous thread regarding Elizabeth Thomson. Have you read it?
Jeremy.

I have been able to put together a rather large amount of information after the information that you gave me on the family
The only other information that I have managed to obtain about Thomas is that he was born 1895 in Maxwelltown & possibly died young.
Again thanks for that info

1901 census
61 Glasgow St, Troqueer, Kirkcudbrightshire
Ebenezer Beattie 53 Gen Lab born Kirkbean
Sarah wife 43 born Dumfries
Janet Agnes dau 13 born Maxwelltown
James Johnstone son 8 born Maxwelltown
Thomas son 8 born Maxwelltown
Also with them are 4 people with the surname Montgomery
Maggie 25 (her mother from home)
Mary 21 dau
Agnes 15 dau
Alexander 13 son All born Maxwelltown
I am not sure what the Montgomery's family connection really is but it is a strange statement after Maggie and the others are descibed as son or daughter.
Jeremy.
