Hi,
I am looking for information on location of stations & ships, and the abbreviations used on Coastguard Registers of Seamen's Services records, can anyone help?

Help with coastguard records
Thanks very much Mutley,
I had looked at it, but it wasn’t what I looking for,
I have down loaded some coastguard records from "National Archives Documents On line"
There are parts I do not understand they are: abbreviations used for “Ships books list no. Rating, &c, G C badges, & remarks”.
Thanks AnnE

Ann, I have some record details, as my husbands gt. grandfather was a Coastguard and I have his records. I may not be able to answer all of your questions, but if you would like to email me, I may be able to help with some of the abbreviations.
