Hi
I have two references from 1881 census and 1901 census (just the summary details) for Henry Bloor born in Willington. He was born about 1865 so he won't appear in the 1861 census, but I thought I would look in that area anyway to see if its a common name in that area. But I don't know where abouts to look. I assume its quite a small place. I tried Multimap but there were no entries in Cheshire, and Willington doesn't appear on the index.
Thank You
Linda

1871 Census
Hi
I have come across Henry Bloor son of Peter & Ann aged 7 living at Old Withington, Cheshire. I have looked on multimap for Withington and come up with a village in the Manchester area. I can let you have more details from the 1871 Census if you like.
Regards
Phil

Hi
Wow that was quick.
I did wonder if it was Withington but decided that with 2 entries pointing to Willington that it was probably somewhere I hadn't heard of.
Yes I would love the 1871 information - thank you.
I had a quick look on Ches BMD and quickly found an entry on there I had noticed before for: BLOOR Peter JEPSON Ann Prestbury, St Peter Cheshire East PSP/6/15 in 1847. (Thats interesting as Henry Bloor appears as a nephew of George Jepson on the 1881 census, and by the time of the 1901 census he is married to George's daughter Anne Jepson. ) Which would probably make Ann Jepson and her husband cousins I think.

this may be too late!!
just spotted your request for info on Willington... you may have found it by now, but just in case you haven't, it is just south of Kelsall and east of Tarvin, (between the A54 and A51). I also have relatives who lived in the village (but no Bloor's that I know of!!)
