Hello everyone,
I am trying to verify some data my gfather has submitted to IGI. He has a birthplace "Tooclay, Co. Clare, Ireland" yet no matter how much I try I cannot find anywhere in Ireland with that placename let alone in Co. Clare!
Can anyone tell me if there is any placename in Co. Clare that remotely sounds similar to "Tooclay" ??
Thanks,
Bridget.

Hi Bridget!

The nearest I can come to this is Tuamgraney....nothing like it really is it? But, found a site that may be able to help you if you go here:
