George Dair/ Jean Scott

I'm looking for any information on George Dair born 1835 he was my great great great grandfather, he married Jean Scott and had the following children there may be more:

Mary-1854 married David Dick in Colinton and later moved to Surrey
Jessie-1856
Annie-1859 in Colinton
George-1863
Margaret-1865 in Colinton

I got this info from the 1871 census and seem to have a brick wall again.

Anyone have any ideas of where to look next?

What info are you looking for?I would try the 1861 Census for clarification.
You can access this on Ancestry no images just index or on Scotlands People which is pay to view but very reasonable.
The 1871 Census should give a birthplace for George & again it's back to Scotlands People to look at the OPR's for a possible birth & his parents.
If you are near a LDS FHC then they may have the Parish Records on film or you can order them in for a small fee.
Also try the IGI for possible parents & if he followed Scottish naming pattern for his children & there are no missing ones i would suspect his parents are
