My Husbands grandfather(John Reginald Francis Fry) born on the 13th Sept 1879 Thorling Lane St Mary Extra Hampshire UK and served on the ship HMS Powerful in 1899, sometime after that he imigrated to Australia and married a woman named Mabel Rose Mathews we are looking for any information on him including photo's of him and/or his family his fathers name was Albert Fry his mothers was Mary Anne Hatch if anyone has any information please e-mail BarbFry@Yahoo.com.au Thankyou it would be greatly appriciated.

John Reginald F. Fry (f. Albert, m. Mary Ann) died 1952, Marrickville (cert no: 6684)

John R. Fry m. 1907 (Sydney), Mabel R. Matthews (cert no: 3145)

There was also a Mabel R. Matthews born in 1885 in Sydney to George & Charlotte Matthews. Not sure if this is the same Mabel Matthews who married John Fry.
