I'm not sure that I can help but there are a couple questions that I need to ask: what program are you using for your email, and what does the error message say?

I had a look in the help section (Outlook Express) and it appears that you cannot use any of the functions that you mentioned if the email body has not been actually downloaded from the server. I have no idea what that means of course
Are your computers connected to each other, or do you have a separate line to the broadband?

Hi .ED & Christine R, thank you for your comments, most appreciated.
Ed we use outlook express & the message is:
“Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'pop.wanadoo.co.uk', Server: 'smtp.wanadoo.co.uk', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10053, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F ”
I don’t under stand it ?

“email body has not been actually downloaded from the server“? I don’t know what that means either, Our two computers are connected by LAN cable to the broadband.
I am now told that computer No1 has never used reply to sender, reply to all & forward, (previously I was told mine is ok it must be you!!) Computer No1 has just tried the aforementioned & found that it doesn’t work ! Hum!
What do I do next,helppppppppp.

If you are using Outlook, check the settings on the tools, account, properties. Not sure what wandadoo should be, but a call to their helpline should help.
I am speaking from experiance of changing over with BTinternet.

AnnE, I agree with Neil that your problem sounds like a settings issue and you should refer to the set up instructions provided by Wanadoo or call their help line for assistance. They should be able to help you remedy the situation. I wish that I had more experience with Wanadoo so that I could be of more help. .............Ed

This sounds like a dial up service message, not a broadband one. You may still have your dial up number in the settings.

If it isn't, then you should make sure the dial up setting "never dial a connection" is selected.
The help desk should be able to guide you step by step over the phone.
