    Question tremain(e) family of Crediton and/or southmolton

    hi
    Ive been asked to see if I can find the following gentleman and was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is any transcripts of Crediton available OR if anyone on here could find him for me please.

    WILLIAM HENRY TREMAIN born abt 1819 Crediton
    married in South Molton in 1842 jun qtr to JANE SHORT

    would love some help please.

    Default William tremayne

    On later census there is a tremayne lodging with shorney in bedminster. I have no notes so i cant be more specific but its with william b 1813 and eliza b 1810 or henry b1843 and sarah b 1844. U may have already found him. Monika

    On 1851 census there is William Tremaine (32), wife Jane (27) with Mary Ann (8), Emma (6), Jane Ann (3) and William Henry (1) Living in Coburg Lane, St Andrews Plymouth

    Jane age 27
    Mary Ann age 8
    Emma age 6
    Jane Ann age 3
    William Henry age 1

    1881 census:

    9 King Gardnes, Plymouth

    William Henry Tremain age 41, Carpenter (Employed)
    Emma age 46
    William H Tremaine age 66 Carpenter (partner) 2 men & 5 boys

    In 1861, Jane is a widow living at 3 Sutton Place, Charles, Plymouth with children Mary Ann (18), Emma (16), William (11), George (9), Samuel (7) and Salina (4)

    The information from SueMalings states 1841 census, when it is in fact taken from the 1851 census:
