I've been told that there is a Sligo in Armagh, but have googled without success. Does anyone know anything about it? I found Sligo Town, but it still appears to be in County Sligo, or have the boundaries changed.

Co Sligo and Co Armagh aren't very close, but there is a Seagoe in Co Armagh - could this be what was meant?

Thanks for your reply Arthur,
You could be right, perhaps it has been confused with Seagoe, it appears on a death certificate as Sligo - but without the County clarification. When I expect he was actually born in County Down like his brother
but thats a death certificate for you - only as good as the informants knowledge.
