My father Joespoh Leslie Burrows 1928-2001 had an old sisiter Frances 1911 -1993. she had two children Mary 1939 and Peter 1941, their last name was Markley. I am trying to see if they are stil alive. They have never met me and may not even know I exsist even, family feud may moons ago.

I don't know why I'm doing it but I checked the GRO birth index for 1941 and couldn't see a Peter Markley.

Can you confirm the details please?

    Thanks Peter,

I have found his birth but cannot trace anything else. I put this on just as a long shot, thinking that somebody on here my know them or be also related to them.

Yes Sharron, he is, either that or he has too much time on your hands, only teasing.

Now I'm irritated with myself for not spotting him! What are the birth details, please? And did he have a second forename or initial?

    Default Recent Relatives

On this subject, what is the best way to trace relatives who are still living. For instance, on brach of my family moved out of the Yorkshire Dales into Middlesbrough. I have a brood of children for them born up until 1900, but where do you go from here once census records cannot lead you?

    Thanks.

The name was MARKLEY, right? Was there a second forename or initial?
