My name is Francis Calvert. I am researching some ancestors who worked on the railways. They lived in Manchester and Huddersfield at the time. I was wondering which line they would be most likely to work on. They were Father and son both called John LLoyd. John LLoyd the son is my great Granddad, he moved up to Huddersfield when he married my great Grandmother but he was still working on the Railways as far as I am aware. If anyone could help me I would be very grateful.
Thanks
Francis Calvert.
