Photograph question

Hi everyone,

I have a couple of carte de visite photographs taken by "H. Culliford" who seemed to have had a couple of studios across Wales (including Radnorshire). Has anyone come across Culliford's name in their research (ie: a trade directory)? I'm trying to find ascertain the time frame in which the photographs were taken.

Thanks for the link Annie. It seems that H. Culliford must have been around for a while. Through analysing the clothing in the photographs, I concluded that they must have been taken in the late 1880s - 1890s.

A quick check on the 1891 census finds a Henry E Culliford aged 18, Photographer, living in Aberystwith (sic)

Wow! Thanks for the further hint Annie. It certainly helps me determine which of my ancestors the photographs are of. I'm going to do a check on the 1901 census records now.
