Researching John & Fanny Skinner, both born 1799 in Wadhurst, but living most of their married lives in Tonbridge. I have them in censuses but would love to get further back with their families.

It appears from the IGI at www.familysearch.org that someone thinks they were married in Tonbridge 06 Nov 1835. Civil registration did not begin until Sept Qtr 1837. I would therefore start by trying to look at the film source quoted unless SKS on the forum just happens to have access to it.

Skinner
By any chance Shirley do you have a Pheobe Skinner in your family tree born about 1811. I believe she went on to marry John Penfold around 1833 possibly in Headcorn.
Thanks a bunch
