Bendall of Oxford

Hello,

The sister of my great x2 grandfather was Mary Ann Bates born in Weston, Norfolk in 1857. She married Francis BENDALL in 1882 in London. They already had a daughter, Frances Mary, who was born in 1881 in Oxford. Three more duaghters followed: Helen in 1885, Elsie in 1890 and Mildred in 1894.

In 1912 Elsie married Richard Bishop in Oxfordshire.

Francis BENDALL was born in Somerset (in Litton according to the census, Clutton district according to BMD index) in 1858. He worked at an Oxford college.

If anybody IS interested in this family, it transpires that Francis Bendall and his wife Mary Anna had another daughter called Hilda Winifred Bendall in May 1901 in Oxford.

I would love to hear from any descendants of this Bendall branch!
