I am a descendant of John abbe from Staverton, Northampton England. There is some new information coming out that there is a Robert Abbe. From what I can figure out it would of been his grandfather.

Google; The Descendant Book of Robert Abbe
It starts out with Robert Abbe and has the same information that you have listed.
It also lists the names of some 10000 plus relatives.
It lists a son, John, B: 1505
and John's son: John, B: 1530
Hope this helps a little.
I also am in the line by marriage in like the 10th generation.
