* after my name. What does it mean?

I have noticed that there is a * after my name in the box that tells you who is on line. Can any one tell me what it means.

Also I believe there is a chat room here but i cant find it. When i first registered, an instant message popped up and someone helpfully guided me into the chat room but i cant find it now!!!

The asterisk means you do not show in the online lists - you can change that in the UserCP under Edit Options
No idea about a chat room though!

The asterisk means you are invisible - signed in but without anybody else knowing that you are signed in.

Ladkyis and I enjoyed a conversation or two, with two or three other members, usually on Sunday evening, but then Christmas got in the way. Same with the Derbyshire Chat Line. It would be good if they could be resumed.

Not sure that the stealth feature works

I have been showing an * for months but my location is always visible irrespective of whether the feature is on or off
