Timeline dates please?

I really hate to sound a bit dumb.... but I can't carry on any longer without mentioning this...
On the forum that lists certain times in history (e.g. Victorian period, or Napoleonic Wars) could we please have the dates this era spans ?
I really am quite an intelligent person, but dates don't stick in my head easily, and I keep forgetting which dates the first or second world wars started and finished on (though this is listed.... thank you)
Any chance of an update that shows the dates?
