Hello, I am very new to this and probably need as much guidance as anyone has the patience to offer. I am trying to locate my mother's ancestors and any information about them possible. I have downloaded Census information from the 1901 Census and have found a family by the last name Willies, the maiden name of my mother's mother. I also found this family in the IGI at the Latter Day Saints. I do not know where to go from here to confirm that it is the right family without a great deal of expense re ordering Birth and Death Certificates. I will do this once I am more certain of the connections. It seems as if it is the correct family, however, there are some discrepancies. I am thinking that I would like to work backwards from death information in order to prove relationships. I haven't been able to find any cemetery records for Penn Fields in or near Wolverhampton where the most recent burials or cremations occurred. The family apparently lived in Feckenham during the late 1800's and then some of the children moved to Staffordshire, Wolverhampton area. I believe that the greatgreatgrandparents would have been buried in Feckenham. I am pretty sure they would have been Anglican or Church of England. Any hints, clues or suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you, Cheryl

Hi Cheryl, I think i'm your Cousin Jennifer Willies, I have 2 Brothers Bill and Arthur, my Dad Cyril would have been your Uncle. The Family Grave IS at Pennfields. Were you Auntie Mollys or Auntie Ivys Daughter?? Did you once live in Wales, if you did I have a photo of you and me aged about 9ys. My Mother you would have known as Auntie Kitty. Hope we are related. Jenny (Langston)

Hi Jenny,
I have edited your post to remove the telephone numbers. It is not a good idea to include these details on the open forum as they can be viewed by spammers and other undesirables.
Unfortunately it is not possible for us to make contact with members who no longer use the forum as we do not retain their details.
Are you a member of Ancestry? I see there are three public trees there which have members of the Willies family of Feckenham.
Best wishes with your search.
