I am trying to locate a street in Dublin - St Clares Park, Sandymount.
My father was born there in 1923 but the same street no longer appears on any modern map. I wanted to know if anyone could help or tell me how I could get hold of an old street map of Dublin?

I'd contact The National Library of Ireland
My local library – Cork - keeps a list of all changed and defunct names, I'm sure they must do the same in Dublin

Hi Lindyloo,
It was good of you to post the information. Unfortunately this thread is some 2 and a half years old and nicknobbyclark is no longer a member of the forum.

Hello Linda and welcome.
Nicknobbyclark may have left the forum but there might be a jibjobbyjones or similar that will find your post very interesting.
As Doug said, thanks for posting and keep it up. If one of the mods thinks we should move your post to a better thread we can.
Just enjoy, tis fun as well as informative.
