    Default Lax - 1851 - 1861 census help please

    Would SKS please help me track this family. (I think their New Year resolution for 1844 was to become elusive!)
    John Lax born c. 1792 (? Hull) and Mary Wilson born c. 1895 (? Hull) were married 29 Mar 1814 Sculcoates, Yorks (per Hugh Wallis' site).

    I think I have some correct children:
    William ch 1818 Holy Trinity, Hull;
    George ch 1821 Holy Trinty (conflicting birth as 1822)[George was a Professor of music & this downline produced many muscians/music teachers etc];
    Charles b.c. 1824;
    Elizabeth b.c. 1833.
    As you can see large gaps between siblings!
    I am hoping the census may help,
    Many, many thanks
    Jenny

    There's a John Lax, age 88, that died in Stokesley, Yorkshire in Mar qtr 1871 (vol 9d, pg 331).

    A Mary Lax, age 89, died Stokesley in June qtr 1873 (same vol & pg).

    (Note: but it may be the wrong John and Mary)
