Default Ball family of Newton Le Willows

Hello, I wondered if anyone can help me. I have started to research my family tree and have made a fair bit of progress however I wondered if anyone out there has anymore information about the Ball family based around Newton Le Willows in the early 1800s - after 1945. We have found them in a variety of places - Crow Lane, Mill Lane and most significantly in charge of farming at Newton Hall from between 1861-1891. We have found information out from censuses, the history of Newton Hall and other sources but we want to amalgamate everything we can find. Any information on any Balls of Newton Le Willows would be appreciated but especially Edward Ball who was living at Newton Hall with his family by 1861. The family included his wife Margaret who was 72, their son, John, aged 40, his wife, 35 year old Sarah and their son and Edward's grandson, John, 18 years old.

Any information would be gratefully received.

    Default Newton-le-Willows

    Hi,

I have the following PR's for St. Peter, Newton-in-Makerfield:

    Baptisms: 1735 - 1837
    Marriages: 1735 - 1754
    Burrials: 1737 - 1837

I also have lots of St. Oswald, Winwick PR's (St. Oswald, Winwick was the mother church of St. Peter's and many Newtoners would have been using St. Oswalds).

I'm from Newton-le-Willows and went to Newton High. I had a teacher named Mr. Ball. Maybe he is a distant relative.

You might want to try the following web-site for all things Newton related:
    https://www.newton-le-willows.org/

If there is anything I can look-up for you in the St. Peter or St. Oswald parish records please don't hesitate to ask.

    Regards, Kirsty
