    Thumper,

There's one match for your Frederick MANN coming up on the 1901 census:

    1901 census: RG13/2099 Folio 12 Page 16
Address: 46 Flora St, Plymouth, Devon

Peter MANN Head M 36 General Labourer [born] Devon Plymouth
Alice M do Wife M 31 [born] do do
William do Son 11 [born] do do
Fred do Son 9 [born] do do
George do Son 7 [born] do do
John MANN Son 5 [born] Devon Plymouth
Harry MANN Brother S 17 General Labourer [born] do do
Mary ?TOLL? [or JOLL] Mother in Law M 57 [born] do do

Your best bet is to obtain birth and marriage certificates. Census information and the FreeBMD index can help by giving you leads to track down or by narrowing down the possiblities.

If you're not sure how to go about this, I recommend you read some of the how-to messages in the beginner forum[s] -- there is some excellent advice to be had just by scanning the posted message.

    Good luck!
