    Charles CARTHY was born in 1795 in Alrewas, Staffs and bapt. 9 Aug 1795 in All Saints, Alrewas, Staffs. He married Matilda WOODWARD in 1817 in St Philips, Birmingham. Matilda WOODWARD bapt 1 August 1796 at St Martins, Birmingham, da. of John and Sarah WOODWARD

    Ann CARTHY da. of Charles and Matilda, was bapt.3 December 1820, married John CLARK[E] in West Bromwich in 1839. Any help re this family would be greatly appreciated
