    Default Job Taylor

    Hi
I am trying to trace Job Taylor, born 1823? living in Mead St. Street, Somerset in the 1881 census. The census states he was born Corscombe, Dorset. We think his wife Mary was possibly nee Vincent born 1833 or 1836 in Kennford Devon. I cannot seem to trace him back to Corscombe. His children were born Compton Dundon 1873, Hardington Manderville 1866-68 both Somerset. His son Charles is on the 1871 census born 1866. We think there might be a link to a Thomas Taylor born 1792? in Corscombe. If anybody could help trace him back and possibly find his family and addresses it would be appreciated.

    In hope kindest regards Nic

    Hi Nic

I have just had a look at the Corscombe records and there was a Job Taylor baptised there Sept. 23, 1820. His parents were Thomas and Elizabeth Taylor

Looking back furthur I noticed that Thomas Taylor married Elizabeth Rose in Corscombe March 29, 1814

Thomas was born in 1792 to Thomas Taylor and Elizabeth Frampton married 1778 also in Corscombe.

Hope this is of some help to you,

    Karen
