Hello can someone help my sister in law tried to register with British Genealogy it accepted her registration and now tells her it is incorrect username, why?. I would appreciate some help please

I know a thread exists, from googling it, but how do I find it when I am logged in? George.

I enter username & password and get the "thank you for logging in " then up pops "Sorry- no matches please try some different terms" I log out repeat the process and I'm ok. Anyone know why this should happen? Thank you

Oops another question that I should be able to work out but it is a lot easy to understand if you ask:redface: Is there any easy way of searching as when you put a common name in ie Mary Smith it comes up with lots of Marys and Smiths and takes me ages to go through them. There must be others...

Where do I ask about family and previous forum conversations

I carefully composed my message then clicked on submit, only to be told it was not accepted and I lost the lot...very frustrating...it said to log in...but I had already logged in earlier. I don't understand what went wrong so thought I would try a little message here and see if it works this time.

Being so close to posting 200 posts, I seem to be stuck on 199. When I noticed that I was close I was on 198, it took 2 or 3 posts to move up to 199 and after 4 or 5 subsequent posts, I seem to be stuck on 199. Is this just happening to me?
