I have a record of Baptism Jan 1860 for All Souls C of E, Vauxhall, Liverpool, where the child was "Privately Baptised". Does this mean the child was baptised by a member of her family i.e. clergy rather than the church's incumbent. Any suggestions much appreciated. Stephanie
