Can you please tell me anything about this uniform the photo was sent to us by a relative in South Africa didn't have a name on the back

Not strictly about photographers but certainly old photographs that may be useful, postcard world.

I need some help with the dating of old photographs. Could anyone provide the address of a web site or the title a book that could help. Keith

Does anyone know when Coles Studios where at 16 Tottenham Court Road and/or 39 King Street, Hammersmith. I have photos taken there but dont know when possibly circa 1900. Tried the online directories but can not find anything.

I have a postcard photograph of a 'Knox Family' Dated 1885 taken in Berlin. It shows Fredy (1876), Percy (1875) Frances (1868) Gardy (1873) and their father Captain Francis A. Stiene Knox it also mentions a Kate (1878). Is anyone researching them? I can let you have a copy.
