MY GRANDMOTHER MARY LLEWELLYN MARRIED EDGAR HARRY BARRETT IN ABERGAVENNY ON THE 22nd OF NOVEMBER 1909, ON THE MARRAIGE
CERTIFICATE HER FATHER IS DOWN AS EDWIN LLEWELLYN,BUT ON THE 1881 CENSUS SHE IS DOWN AS HIS GRANDAUGHTER, THERE IS NO SON CALLED
EDWIN. ON THE CENSUS MARY IS DOWN AS BEING BORN IN LLANTHEWY RHYTHERCH,ANYONE KNOW OF ANY CHURCHES THERE SO I CAN WRITE FOR

there is another Mary Llewellen on the 1881 census with her father named as Edwin Llewellen. She is aged 12 and born in Brecon though other siblings are from Pontypool and Tredegar. The ref: is RG11/5254/79 page 7

on 1891 census. There is living in Abergavenny.
Edwin Llewelyn with his wife Emily.
Grand daughter Mary.
They have 2 daughters also
Harriet aged 16
Sabrina aged 11.

Hi Tracy,Thank you for your reply. I have not been online for awhile. I have the death certificate of Edwin and Emily Llewellyn who both died in 1908(same ones you refer to) Mary is down on both certificates as informant, her address is the same as theirs, 68 Merthyr Road, she is down as their Grandaughter so there's no mistake. I still cannot find out who her father is. Edwin on his death certificate died from Senile Decay (age 72)although his address was Merthyr Road
he died in union Street Workhouse, does anyone know why he would Die there?
