Tracing the Stroyd Family from Dudley Worcestershire

The Family name is quite unusual except its sometimes been misspelt with e at the end;;
I have recieved my g.g.grandparents W/C and now know his father was;
Richard Stroyd b, ab 1800? Brewer from Dudley
Son James who married 14/3/1850 Dudley Groom
to Mary Haydon
St James Church

I have traced James back to 1861 census but cannot find in 1851;;
But would love to know more about his Father Richard;;

I descend from Richard Stroyd, brewer, maltster and carter of Dudley (died 12.4.1858) via his son John and John's son Richard who was my great grandfather. First Richard had ch. William, Mary Ann, Hannah, Richard, Henry, Mary, Thomas, Ann, Mary Ann, Robert, James, Elizabeth and John all born in Dudley. I am not sure whether he is the Richard bapt. 18.11.1787 in Hanbury, Worcs. Would welcome corresponding with any descendants of this family. Jane
