Help please. My great great grandfather was Hugh Brown, a butcher in Ilminster. He was born about 1841 but I can find no record of his death. He is listed in the 1871 census but his wife is a widow by 1881. His youngest son was born about 1873. I have been through all the death records between 1871 and 1881 at the Family Records Centre in London but can find no-one of that name of the right age. I've also checked deaths at sea and deaths registered abroad. Any ideas?
