I have a Joshua Brownrigg (Chrt. April 6, 1714 at Bootle & buried at Whitbeck March 4, 1765) in my family who married Eleanor Benn (b. 1712 & Buried Dec. 10 17 93 at Whitbeck) at Bootle, Cumberland, on June 14, 1744. Joshua's father was John Brownrigg (b. abt. 1688 & Buried Feb 8, 1718-19) and his occupation was Husbandman. Joshua aslo had a sister called Agnes (b. at Bootle & Christened March 10, 1716-17)

I'm afraid that I've not been able to get any further back than this as yet on either line.

Can anyone help?

If this is part of your line where do you come in?

All the best,

Ivor

I have passed your query on to Ann Brownrigg and you should hear from her.

Good luck....

According to my records John Brownrigg married Elizabeth Hudson (29/09/1689) from Loweswater (seven times my great grand parents).

MARY BROWNRIGG (My great-great-great-grandmother) was born in 1814 in Whitbeck to John Brownrigg and Sarah Tyson.
Robert Dixon married Mary Brownrigg. They had four children:
John Dixon in 1845
Mary Dixon in 1846
Margaretta Dixon in 1847
Robert Dixon about 1850 (My gg grandfather, Broughton-in-Furness)
