Not sure if you have this. The family can be found in Heeley in 1901 at RG 13 4359 folio 94.

Do you have any more information on the parents? Such as occupations or adresses etc...There is a district in Manchester called Ardwick?

Me again ,
the relative i was speaking about ie. (dyson ) told me a story , which i already knew about from chidhood , 1940's to be precise . One of my gran's sister's said a solictor had made contact regarding a will , they were looking relatives called Rose , they were trying america to see if anyone was nearer than our family .He told me some money had been paid out , (dont know when ) my gran died May 1948 . I'm not after any money , just curious .
The man was an Hotelier in London , i should imagine his name was Rose , or they would'nt have been looking for people of that name .
Where would i start to find this will , he also said because it was after the war the gov. took some of it ?
Hope you can point me in the right direction ,
ps. Val .
Mary Theresa Rose was married to John W. Dyson .

"The man was an Hotelier in London , i should imagine his name was Rose , or they would'nt have been looking for people of that name ."

You simply need to search the wills and administrations. Widely available. See

I assume we're talking about England and Wales if he died in London.
